MY BACKGROUND
I bring a multifaceted background in business, education, and civic leadership to the table, with an unwavering dedication to finding solutions. My distinctive perspectives enhance the conversation. I am a husband, father, mentor, coach, and educator. In 1999 I was awarded the Platinum Apple as an outstanding educator who made a significant contribution to my school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. In 2023 I won the Los Angeles Press Club's Award for Entertainment News Features over 5 minutes. I have worked as a community and campaign organizer for several candidates. I have owned my own production company for the past 25 years.
WHY I AM RUNNING
California City is my home. Over the years, I have been dedicated to driving economic development, promoting health and community beautification, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
As a college professor, business owner, and coach, I understand the importance of leading by example. My commitment is to invest in our infrastructure, bring new ideas to create jobs, and stimulate economic growth. My recent work on a $320 million project in New York showcases my capability. I have also contributed by serving on school site councils and cultural advisory boards, promoting vocational training and education programs for the evolving job market.
I am dedicated to fostering public/private partnerships for healthcare programs and community beautification. By supporting health initiatives designed to enhance quality of life and launching projects that include green spaces, public art, and clean-up drives, I aim to beautify our community.
Financial accountability in government is a must. Maintaining a balanced budget and implementing transparent budgeting processes is crucial. I will reduce unnecessary expenditures, reallocate resources effectively, and hold city officials accountable to prevent financial waste.
Together, we can build a prosperous, healthy, beautiful, and financially sound California City.
